I don’t have to tell you how horrible the weather has been the last couple of months. With rain, gales and flooding it was a wonder that any football matches were played on the ground down at Sporting Club Thamesmead at all. So it was a miracle that only one of their home matches ended up being postponed.
It’s great that days are getting slightly longer too – no more Saturday afternoon floodlit pitches!
