The Rendez-Vous 2017 Tall Ships Regatta was held over the Easter bank holiday in Greenwich and Woolwich. I was fortunate to get to take a 2.5 hour ride on one of the 35 tall ships from around the world taking part – the Loth Lorien. We climbed aboard at Woolwich Arsenal pier and took in the sights of the River Thames, including the Thames Barrier, Emirates Air Line, Greenwich as well as some local wedding venues such as the Greenwich Tavern and the Old Royal Naval College – The Admiral’s House and The Painted Hall as well as the O2. The weather was sunny but slightly breezy on the river. We were served fresh cakes and canapés (spring rolls, mini pizzas and fish). All in all it was a very cool thing to experience and hope that the ships come back again next year. Here are a few of my photographs of the day. Enjoy!
